We are in the 21st century: surely science disproves the existence of God?
True science does not contradict the existence of God. Faith and science can live together in perfect harmony! So if you look at a clear sky on a dark night you will see thousands of stars. Is there any scientific contradiction? Where did all the stars come from in the first place? It is not very scientific to say that they all appeared from nothing. But this is what evolution does; evolution has no answer as to where matter originally came from. Some say that it all started with the “Big Bang” – that is a massive explosion that kicked things into motion. Christians believe that it is only God who can make something from nothing – a large explosion cannot do this as materials (explosives) are needed in the first place to make the “bang”
